Schools Count Corp. is busy with projects here at the end of 2012 extending into 2013. Please consider joining us for these many wonderful events.

Sept. 16, 2012: The Hinsdale Central Boys Soccer Team will host its annual KICK event at the tennis courts from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Oct. 19, 2012: Schools Count and Habitat for Humanity will host a Chili Dinner from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm in the Hinsdale Central student cafeteria.

Oct. 22-Nov. 9, 2012: Collect new and clean 'gently used' coats. Our goal is to collect 1,000 coats this year. Yes, we will take mittens, gloves, scarves and hats. Delivery will take place the week before Thanksgiving.

February 19, 2013: The Hinsdale Central Jazz Ensemble will hold it's 5th annual festive Mardi Gras benefit at 7:30 in the HC Cafeteria. For some great jazz, terrific refreshments and a good time, you'll want to set aside this date!

March, 2013:  6th Annual Cash Donor Drive

March 8, 2013: FCCLA Bowling Benefit at Willowbrook Lanes on Plainfield Rd. 3 games plus shoes, prizes and refreshments. Cost $20. Contact Dick Flesher at rich219@comcast.net to be part of the FUN!

March 21, 2013: A wonderful celebration of our work. Our 3rd Annual Donor/Volunteer Appreciation Dinner will be held at 6:30 in the Hinsdale Central H. S. student cafeteria. We'll have a wonderful speaker, great meal and we'll hear Chalmers Elementary band. This is the school we bought instruments for last year. It will be wonderful see them and hear them perform.

April-May, 2013:  Speak to various schools about ‘Go Green’ and pick up supplies from participating schools

May 24 - June 7, 2013: Collect 'Go Green' supplies. Plenty of volunteers are needed with loading trucks!

August 6, 2013: Load trucks with supplies destined for CPS. We'll load at 20048 S. Kohlwood Dr., Mokena, IL. 60448 from 9:00 am to noon. Lots of fun, hard work and a great lunch. Email Dick Flesher to volunteer!

August 7 - 9, 2013:  Deliver school supplies to CPS and Harvey, IL schools. Let me know if you can help in this worthwhile endeavor and I'll provide a destination map with instructions on getting to the schools.

**In 2012-13, not only will Schools Count Corp continue to aid nearly 40 CPS schools but our non-profit will aid children in need of supplies throughout the Chicagoland area. Be sure to watch for further information concerning the expansion of our work!**
